Winter Pride 2018
London Winter Pride 2014

Winter Pride UK is an annual event taking place in London. Founded in 2014, Winter Pride UK provides a platform to celebrate LGBT+ culture and diversity.

Founder Rebecca Paisis is the creative force behind Findhrr the girls dating app and former co-founder of MINT. She also co-organises vogue night SHADE and has recently worked with LGBT charity Stonewall as well as raising funds for the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Winter Pride UK next takes place at the Scala on Saturday 25 February 2017 from 9pm – 5am. In partnership with classic drinks brand Smirnoff, Winter Pride will be raising money for LGBT+ causes.

5th anniversary. Five years ago Leatherpride started as an experiment, today it is a hobby that has run out of control. In recent years we have invested heavily in the quality of this event. Visitors who come to Antwerp should simply have a wonderful weekend. We do not intend to be the biggest – but we do want to be the best. March 2015

Maspalomas Carnival 2014 - Faunaval - 7th - 16th March
Maspalomas Carnival 2014

Every year between the end of February and the middle of March, Maspalomas gets a colorful exhibition to celebrate its famous carnivals. During the following weeks there are shows, festivals, floats and parties all over the place filling the roads with thousands of people in their carnival costumes and dancing to the latin beat making it a very contagious atmosphere for fun fun and liberty. Major events takes place on the main stage in the Yumbo Centrum. One of the most outrageous known shows is the drag queen night with international interests.

The theme of Maspalomas Carnival 2014 has been announced as 'Faunaval' inspired by Gran Canaria's flora and fauna. The 'Faunaval' will take place from 7th - 16th March 2014 in and around Playa del Ingles and is expected to be a jungle of events and festivities! The dates have been released ahead of time, so that tourists can plan their visit to Gran Canaria around Carnival season. (full program of events will be added to this post nearer to the time, but be ready for a huge parade!)

Maspalomas Gay Pride - Faunaval - 7th - 16th March 2014

Gay Mardi Gras which is usually on a Friday and Saturday towards the middle of the month. The 2 main events are the drag competition on the Friday night and the parade through Playa del Ingles on the Saturday day time.

Pride is celebrated every year during the second week of May drawing at least 100.000 LGTB people from all over the world. It is known as well for its fun and beach touch....... Moreover we highlight the fact the are so many pool parties that takes place in almost all gay accommodation bungalows and hotels and the big carnival taking place in the main avenure called Avenida de Tirajana

Oxford Pride 2014

The parade and main event will take place on Saturday, 7th June 2014 with the ten day Oxford Pride Festival running from Friday, 30 May - Sunday, 08 June 2014.

The Parade makes its way through the centre of Oxford, starting from Ship Street at 12 noon, with the main event starting at 1pm and finishing at approximately 8pm.

Oxford Pride is held on Oxpens Field, Oxpens Road (next to the Ice Rink).

There will be events held at local pubs & clubs until the early hours of Sunday morning.

Portsmouth Pride Mission Statement: our aims are to promote equality and diversity, advance education and eliminate discrimination in relation to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people. We work for the benefit of the community in Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. The purpose of Portsmouth Pride is to raise awareness on issues affecting LGBT persons, by staging an annual festival.

We also support other charitable and voluntary organisations within the community throughout the year, developing an environment in favour of LGBT equality by providing information, advice and support.

The Parade leaves from Guildhall Square at noon. Dress up and bring your flags and whistles! A great event for all the family, with music, entertainment, and led by Raw Samba, bringing the atmosphere of Mardi Gras to Portsmouth. You do not need tickets - just come along and join in the fun!

York Pride is a charitable organisation which aims to promote equality, diversity and advances in education, in order to eliminate discrimination against the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Community. York Pride's Parade raised awareness of LGBT issues by promoting and staging events, taking part in campaigning and commentary in the media, and providing support to other LGBT charities and voluntary organisations. We also promote the provision of information, advice and support that celebrate LGBT lives and history.

We aim for York to be a place where everybody knows that the diversity offered by the LGBT community is something to be celebrated and in which LGBT people can feel safe and accepted. We believe that inclusiveness improves self esteem and provides a sense of belonging, which helps to diminish the psychological effects of discrimination faced by individuals in daily life.

Dublin Pride 2014

The Dublin LGBT Pride Festival is an annual series of events which celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) life in Dublin, Ireland. It is the largest LGBTQ pride festival in the Republic of Ireland. The festival culminates in a pride parade which is held in June. The event has grown from a one-day event in 1983 to a ten-day festival celebrating LGBT culture in Ireland with an expanded arts, social and cultural content.

This year's event runs from 14th - 29th June 2014 with the main parade on Saturday 28th.

Plan your trip to London Pride 2016 with advice on travel, accommodation, disabled access and parking. Celebrating #NOFILTER, the Pride Parade is the ONLY annual event to close London’s iconic Oxford Street! The Pride in London Parade will take place on Saturday 25th June 2016.

The Parade leaves from Portland Place at 1pm, moving down Regent Street through Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Lower Regent Street, Waterloo Place, Pall Mall East, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square, and Whitehall, before dispersing in Whitehall Place. Bristol Pride has quickly become one of the largest Pride events in the UK and our aim is to be the UKs largest free Pride event. We believe Pride should remain a free and accessible event for all to attend, not just those that can afford it.

Pride day itself is home to the South West’s most colourful parade, massive outdoor music festival featuring multi stage entertainment, onsite play and creative activities, dedicated community and family areas, licensed bar, food concessions, market stalls and much more. 2012 saw Bristol Pride return and declare WE ARE: PROUD with a week long series of event culminating in a massive free outdoor festival. Nottinghamshire Pride - Celebrating Diversity and LGBT Life in Nottinghamshire (Formerly Nottingham Pride)

Supported by Nottingham City Council, main sponsor EON and the city's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual communities, this year's festival will take place at the Forest Recreation Ground (Goose Fair site) on Saturday 30 July 2011. The festival will run from 12.00 noon until 8.00 pm, kicking off with a march from the Old Market Square at 10.45 am.

Liverpool Pride operates two festival locations which are a five minute walk - Liverpool Waterfront includes our large stage, headliners and community market whilst the Stanley St Quarter is our 'nightclub on the street' within the city's gay venues. Cork Pride is a non-profit organization, consisting of individuals interested in promoting positive images of gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people.

Cork Pride festivals Mission is to celebrate the diverse culture of corks Lgbt community, by providing the Cork community with various activities and functions to promote and engage in educational, civic and cultural activities in order to enrich the lives of LGBT people and the community as a whole, and to work together to achieve common goal.

Belfast Pride 2014

Belfast Pride is Ireland’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender festival and ranks in the top ten largest pride parades in the United Kingdom!

We celebrate our diversity with a week long celebration which take place at the end of July and feature a programme of events which we are sure appeals to even the most diverse range of tastes.

The 2014 festival will run from Saturday 25th July to Saturday 2th August (Parade Day) with the Belfast Pride Parade and Party in the Square on Saturday 2nd August 2014.

Swindon & Wiltshire Pride 2014

Swindon Pride was launched in 2008, with the first ever Pride festival being held in Swindon. In 2009, the Pride event was expanded to incorporate Swindon & Wiltshire Pride. This year will be our 6th event to be held in the Town Gardens in Swindon. The atmosphere within the park is vibrant and the Bowl Stage provides the perfect setting for a wonderful event.

The event is normally held in the Town Gardens and is scheduled to take place on Saturday 9th August 2014 (TBC).

Manchester Pride 2014

Pride events have been taking place in Manchester for over 20 years and the current Manchester Pride organisation is in its tenth year of organising the festival.
The main goal of Manchester Pride is to raise money for a variety of LGBT organisations and groups within Greater Manchester and we thank you for your ongoing support.

The parade normally starts around at 13:00 on Saturday (August Bank Holiday Weekend 2014) and is usually based around the theme (tba). As usual there will be a week of events in the run up to the main weekend. See website for full details of the week's events and how to participate.

There was controversy after the 2013 given the small amount given to various charities compared to the overall revenue generated during the event.

Cornwall Pride (Truro) 2014

Cornwall Pride 2014, takes place on Saturday 23rd August, Bank Holiday Weekend
The Parade starts from Lemon Quay (outside Marks and Spencers) with people gathering from about 9am onward to enjoy the build up with friends.

When we are all ready, at 11am the parade starts to wind it's way through the streets of Truro.

The route follows previous years:- along Lemon Quay, through Back Quay, turning right into Lemon Street. At the end of Lemon Street the parade will turn left into Boscawan Street and proceed to Victoria Square. At Victoria Square the parade will turn right into River Street and go past the museum and will come to a halt at the junction of River Street and Edward Street. Reading Pride is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers. Leicester Pride is Leicester's annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) festival, held at the beginning of September each year There's much more to Leicester Pride than the one day event and, the festival will span a full nine days with a series of art, culture, sport, music and film events celebrating the great diversity of the LGBT community.

English Riviera Pride has taken over the reins from Torbay Pride, setting up a new committee and revitalizing what Pride in the English Riviera is all about. We aim to celebrate and create awareness about the diverse culture we have in the Riviera, in a safe, and more importantly fun atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all. To achieve this we aim to hold various events, to be enjoyed by all, throughout the year, at various locations within the fabulous setting we call the English Riviera. Sunderland Pride is Sunderland's dedicated lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans charity. Launched on September 23rd 2011, the first festival attracted around 2,000 people into the City Centre and gave many an opportunity to celebrate their sexuality in a safe environment while also promoting the diversity of the City.

The 2014 event is scheduled to take place on Sunday 31st August (based on last year) or Sunday 28th September 2014 tbc. Date to be announced in Feb
